Role Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Associate Product Manager (APM) to join our team and help drive the development of innovative digital solutions. In this role, you will work closely with Product Manager, Engineering, Design, and Marketing teams to understand user needs, define product requirements, and contribute to delivering high-impact features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Discovery & User Research:
- Assist in conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to gather insights.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform product strategy.
- Prioritization & Backlog Management:
- Help maintain and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, concise, and actionable.
- Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Execution & Collaboration:
- Work as a key liaison between engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Answer questions from developers and clarify requirements during sprint execution.
- Track product development progress and help identify and mitigate risks.
- Analysis & Iteration:
- Help define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success.
- Assist in analyzing post-launch data to inform future iterations and A/B tests.
- Create reports and presentations on product performance for stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving:
- Drive continuous improvement by recommending new processes or tools to improve efficiency, scalability, and team collaboration.
- Address and resolve conflicts within product development teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in a product-related role (e.g., internship, business analyst, project coordinator) or a strong, demonstrable passion for product management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable working with data.
- Intellectual curiosity and a deep desire to understand the "why" behind user behavior and business goals.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- A collaborative spirit and a low-ego attitude; you're eager to learn and contribute.
Preferred (Nice-to-Haves):
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!, Productboard).
- Familiarity with analytics and data visualization tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Tableau).
- Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
